Question 1

Do you work with clients outside Fort Smith?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The studio is in Fort Smith, Arkansas, but most of the design process happens over email, phone and video, and we ship finished pieces anywhere in the United States. You approve CAD renderings before anything is cut, so you see the exact piece before it is built.

Question 2

How much does a custom piece cost?

Accepted Answer

It depends almost entirely on the center stone and the metal. Design and CAD work is quoted up front and separately from materials, so you know what the design costs before committing to stones. We will tell you honestly if your budget does not fit the design you have in mind, and what would.

Question 3

How long does a custom piece take?

Accepted Answer

Most custom projects run four to eight weeks from approved design to finished piece. Sourcing an unusual stone or a complex setting can add time. If you have a date to hit, tell us at the consultation and we will tell you honestly whether it is workable.

Question 4

Can I use my own stones or an old piece of jewelry?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes — it is one of the most common things we do. We will inspect the stones first, since older stones sometimes have chips or abrasions that need to be addressed before resetting. If a stone is not safe to reset we will say so rather than risk it.

Question 5

Do I need an appointment?

Accepted Answer

Appointments are best for design consultations so you get uninterrupted bench time. Call (479) 546-6740 or send a request and we will find a time. Repairs and quick questions do not need one.
